W Trek Cabins Cuernos
The Torres del Paine Cabins Cuernos are small A-Framed huts each with its own outdoor deck. Moreover, the cabins can accommodate two people snugly. It should be noted that they are located about 80m uphill from the Refugio Cuernos, and meals are taken inside the refugio.
Also, within this area is the Refugio Cuernos and Camping Cuernos.

Although we mention the W Trek Cabins Cuernos in the presentation, in this web site, for Refugio and Camping Cuernos, we feel that the cabins merit a separate presentation.
The Cabins Cuernos are part of the same complex of accommodation options at Cuernos, which are namely the Refugio and Camping. This W Trek accommodation offering is located about halfway from the Torres del Paine Welcome Centre, or from Refugio Chileno to the entrance to the French Valley. Approx trekking times are 5.5hrs from the Welcome Centre, 5hrs from Refugio Chileno and then from Cuernos to the entrance to the French Valley it is 2.5hrs.
There are 8, small, A-framed cabins located together about 80 mts up the hill from the refugio. Apart from the privacy that these cabins offer, ie only two people per cabin, and each cabin totally separated from the one nearby, they are also “very cozy”. In many respects, a night in one of these cabins is like sleeping in a “mini house” in a fairytale, given that they also have their own, small log-burning stove as well as a small deck for chilling out on and admiring the view.
Cabins Cuernos In Brief
- Cabanas Cuernos (80m uphill from the refugio Cuernos).
- These are small, A-framed cabins that can accommodate two people.
- There is a WC and shower unit for the Cabin guests, but meals must be taken in dining room in the refugio Cuernos.

- There is a basic essentials store at the refugio.
- In the refugio, there is limited Wi-Fi, which is charged by the minute as well as electrical plugs to charge cel phones, for which you will need a USB and also permission from the reception.
- 8 Cabins with capacity for two people in each.
- Log-burning stove for heating in each cabin.
- Small outdoor deck at each cabin.
- Beds come made up with pillows, sheets and duvets, or sleeping bags.
- Towels, soap and shampoo provided.
