Torres del Paine
Circuit Trek Refugio and Camping Dickson
For the second night on the Torres del Paine Circuit Trek, you will be at Torres del Paine Circuit Trek Refugio and Camping Dickson. Still hiking in an anticlockwise direction, which is the only direction you are allowed to trek on this trail, and it will take about 6hrs hiking time from Seron to get to Dickson. This location is right the way over the other side of the Torres del Paine central massif, very much in the back country of the park.
At Dickson there is a refugio that offers dorm rooms and bunk beds as well as serviced camping by way of pitched tents all set up on the ground (not platforms). Sleeping bags, ground mats and all meals included under our All-Inclusive Circuit Trek itinerary.

Location (scroll down for maps)
Both the refugio and camping is located on flat land close to Lake Dickson. In line with other refugios on the trail, the refugio building is a simple, wooden construction much like a large garden shed. Inside are dorm rooms with bunk beds, a dining area, communal shower rooms and WC. In total there is sleeping capacity for up to 27 people in the refugio.
Camping here is in standard (ie not premium) tents, which will be pitched in advance for you, and come with ground mats and sleeping bags. For your meals you go into the refugio and join the guests in the refugio.
Be aware that there is no internet, so no Wi Fi, and no electrical sockets to charge cel phones. Towels are available to rent.
