Torres del Paine Hotel Las Torres
Located in the east of Torres del Paine, Hotel Las Torres is a great option for those wishing to start or end their W trek with the comfort of a private room and en-suite bathroom. The hotel is situated at the trail head that leads up to the famous Torres Base. Therefore, it fits well logistically for the trek. In addition, the hotel is now offering all-inclusive itinerary programs, which, of course, Experience Chile will arrange for you, whereby you can sit back and enjoy your stay and be taken on the W Trek, and / or to other parts of Torres del Paine.
Torres del Paine Hotel Las Torres
Brief Introduction to Hotel Las Torres
The hotel is located in the eastern side of Torres del Paine. Initially, it was a private house for the family that managed the estancia, upon which the property sits. However, today, it is now a 74-room hotel. It should be noted that the owners still run the estancia but expanded the original homestead into a proper hotel. Moreover, Hotel Las Torres is located on private land in Torres del Paine and is also at the head of the trail that leads up to Chileno (2hrs from the hotel), and Torres Base (4hrs from the hotel).
Growth of the Hotel
The hotel has grown from being a rustic, simple lodge for hikers into a proper hotel for W Trekkers. Therefore, for those preferring to stay in a private room, with their own, private, en-suite bathroom, this is a great place to overnight. In addition, it is ideal for the start of the trek up to the Torres base, or to begin to Circuit trek before heading on to Seron. Alternatively, it is also a good, final night stay whereupon you can have a decent shower and nice meal at the end of your W or Circuit Trek hike.
As mentioned above, this is the start, or end of the W Trek trail that goes up to Chileno and on to the Las Torres Base. It is also a start or end point to go on to Cuernos. Consequently, it serves as an option to do the Torres Base trek (9hrs return from the hotel) and avoid staying in a refugio.

About Hotel Las Torres
Considering that Hotel Las Torres began life as a private, family estancia home, it was never constructed to be a hotel. Therefore, the atmosphere is still relatively “rustic” within, with natural wood walls, large fireplaces and a kind of estancia lodge feel. And, in line with the rural, country theme all staff wear local Baquales “cowboy” uniforms in order to give it a local, Chilean Patagonian flavor.
The guest rooms were added to the main house as time went by, to become 74 rooms today, which are distributed along two wings of the hotel, each one branching out from the main entrance and central public gathering area, where there are sofas, tables and a bar.
The W Trek Trail
The family that owns the hotel also owns approximately half the land where the W Trek trail passes through, and this is now a “reserve”. Much of the emphasis of Las Torres is centered upon sustainability and recycling.
Facilities in the hotel include a room dedicated for excursions where guides will chat to hotel guests about the next day activities, a restaurant, as well as a circular “Quincho” for a Patagonian barbecue and a small wellness centre that offers massages and a sauna.
There is a walkway to restaurant which is exposed for a short distance to the elements.

The Room Categories
It should be noted that over the past few seasons the Hotel Las Torres has invested a lot of time and money into upgrading all the guest rooms, as well as the overall interior of the hotel.
Whereas there used to be three categories of guest room there is now only one, which is superior. However, the rooms on one side have a view to the Amirante mountain, whereas the rooms on the other side out to the lower hills. In general guest rooms are adequately spacious, decorated with natural colors and are relatively cozy.
