Brief Introduction to Hotel Rio Serrano
Hotel Serrano is a large, 108 -roomed hotel, spread on three floors. The structure is located very close to the southern shore of the “Rio Serrano”, which is a long, meandering river with its source at “Lago Grey” and its end into the Señoret Channel 38km down river.
In addition, the hotel is a main part of what is now the “Villa Serrano” (Serrano village), which is a tourist base for people entering into Torres del Paine national Park. In reality, the location of the hotel, as well as “Villa Serrano” is situated on the outer edge of the official Torres del Pain, invisible boundary line. However, the views from the side of the hotel facing the Torres del Pane Massif are spectacular, and, for all intents and purposes, the hotel can be absolutely considered as being in the park.

About Hotel Rio Serrano
Hotel Rio Serrano began life as a rather small and modest 20 guest room lodge, back in 2002. However, since then, the owner, who is into construction, steadily expanded the building into what it is today, which is a 108-guestroom complex on three floors, with indoor pool and spa, large bar and lounge areas and equally large restaurant on the second floor.
To be frank, it is a large building and when full, can be extremely busy. If you seek a more intimate experience Rio Serrano will not be for you, but if you just want a nice hotel, with superb views (on one side), and do not mind lots of people, then Rio Serrano is a good bet. Particularly it is suited to groups.
Guest rooms are, indeed, spacious.
The hotel offers an all-inclusive itinerary and at certain date periods bed and breakfast.
Today the hotel offers an attractive, indoor pool and spa – ideal after a busy day trekking.

The Room Categories
Guest rooms at Hotel Rio Serrano are all mostly generous regarding space.
There are three categories of room. The top is the superior room with fantastic views to the Torres del Paine.
Next is the standard room, and these are on the other side of the hallway to the superior rooms and face the village and back mountains – but no view to the Torres del Paine massif.
In addition, there is also a room category called Standard Plus and these are basically in the attic of the hotel with small Velux windows in the roof.
