What Defines Torres del Paine Luxury Camping, known as “Glamping”?
Torres del Paine Luxury Camping, or Glamping, is a recent addition to the English language to describe high-end, luxury-level camping. Typically, a place that comes under the “Glamping” category will usually mean that the accommodation is within a Yurt or metallic-framed structure. The interior of these will then comprise a comfortable bed, walls covered by material, nice lighting, and good shower or bathroom with WC. Usually, the interiors are of very high standard, better than some hotel rooms in fact.
Two Glamping Properties in and around Torres del Paine
In and around Torres del Paine there are two properties that come into the “Glamping” category, and these are the ECO Camp and Patagonia Camp, and both are described below.
Luxury Camping, known as Glamping category, are ECO Camp and Patagonia Camp.

There are currently two “glamping” options around the Torres del Paine area and these are: ECO Camp and Patagonia Camp.
ECO Camp is located at the trail head that leads up to the Torres Base, in the eastern end of the Park. The ethos of ECO Camp is what is best for the environment, and offers three different accommodation levels within dome-style buildings.
Patagonia Camp is located a few kms south of the western, Serrano entrance into Torres del Paine. It offers yurt accommodation constructed on platforms with a wooded area with fantastic views over Lago de Toro and to the Torres del Paine Central Massif.

Patagonia Camp
Eco Camp
The Eco Camp is all about leaving a minimal carbon footprint and being able to enjoy Torres del Paine without damaging the environment. Dome structures offer three levels of accommodation, plus communal sectors for dining.
Patagonia Camp
The Patagonia Camp is the definition in action of luxury camping. Each yurt is furnished with good quality fittings and fixtures and come with a modern en-suite bathroom plus great views to the lake. Good quality restaurant with superb view.
