Description

The 3 hr navigation starts from the port of Ushuaia on board a catamaran that heads out towards the iconic Beagle Channel directly away from the city if Ushuaia. Looking back from the catamaran passengers will get a prised view of the entire Ushuaia city and mountains that create a dramatic backdrop to this southern Patagonian conurbation. Ahead of the boat in the distance will be Chilean territory – the Navarino Island.

Depending on the weather the excursion may stop off at a small island for a walk about then pass by, at close range, a number of rocky outcrops that are home to cormorants, sea lions and penguins (penguins: between Nov to Abril). The navigation loops around the small tower light-house called les Eclaireurs and back to port, passing by the world´s southern-most located estancia called Harberton.
